Response and Booking
What happens after I call?
A licensed plumber answers and takes the details, then talks you through anything worth doing right now, like turning the water off at the meter. We confirm we're on the way and stay reachable until we knock, then it's straight into making the emergency safe and quoting the repair.
How fast can you get here?
Fast, though it honestly depends where our nearest van is when you ring. Most nights we're on-site fast, and we'd rather give you a straight arrival picture on the call than promise a clock time we can't stand behind.
Are you really open 24/7?
Yes, genuinely. Someone is on and the phones are answered every hour of every day, weekends and public holidays included. Call at 3am and you'll reach a licensed plumber, not an answering machine, ready to help there and then.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
We do, at no extra charge. Nights, weekends and public holidays get the same team and the same pricing as a Tuesday afternoon. Emergencies don't keep office hours, so neither do we.

Pricing, Explained Honestly
How do your quotes work?
We look at the problem, tell you what it needs in plain English, and give you one fixed price for the finished repair. The price we quote is the price you pay, agreed before any work starts, so you decide with a clear figure in front of you rather than a vague estimate.
Is the quote really free?
It is. The quote is free and there's no call-out fee, so getting a licensed plumber to assess the problem costs you nothing. You only ever pay for repair work you've approved, at the price you approved.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. There's no after-hours loading and no weekend surcharge. A 2am burst is quoted exactly like a midday one, on the work in front of us, never the hour on the clock.
How can I pay?
The usual ways: card, bank transfer or the common tap-and-go methods, settled once the job's done and you're happy with it. We'll run through the options on site, and there's nothing to pay upfront just to get us there.

Working Around Frenchs Forest
How local are you to Frenchs Forest, really?
Local enough to know the Forest District streets by name. We're on the roads around the town centre and the Forestway shops most weeks, and we know how the older homes on the big bushland blocks were plumbed. That knowledge is why we find the fault faster.
Why do drains overflow here after a big storm?
The suburb sits high on a sandstone ridge and catches heavy rain, and steep street falls send a lot of water at the low points at once. Older stormwater and gully drains surcharge, and the after-hours call is water backing up where it shouldn't. It's one of our regular storm-season jobs.
Do tree roots really block drains around Frenchs Forest?
Constantly. With Garigal National Park on the doorstep and mature trees across the big blocks, roots work into the joints of the older earthenware sewers and choke them. It's the most common blocked-drain cause we clear up here, and a camera down the line usually shows exactly where.
Do you work on Frenchs Forest's apartments and strata blocks?
Yes. The newer townhouses and apartments around the hospital town centre are part of the run, alongside the detached homes that make up most of the suburb. Whether it's a single unit or a common-property line, we handle it and coordinate with strata where needed.

Licences, Cover and the Rules
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It covers the labour on the repairs we carry out. If a job we've done isn't right, we come back, no questions, no cost. The workmanship on that repair is put right at no charge to you, which is the whole point of the guarantee.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Only a plumber holding the right gas licence class. Gas fitting and gas leak repair are licensed work in NSW for good reason, and the job is tested and certified before the gas goes back on. If you smell gas, leave the house and call from outside; we never encourage a DIY gas fix.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Please do. We work under NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, printed here because we're proud of it, and you can confirm it before we start. A plumber who won't show a licence isn't one to let inside your home.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes to both. Every repair is done by a licensed plumber, and we carry full insurance that covers your home and our work while we're on site. It's the baseline you should expect from anyone you let in during an emergency.
